Your Role

This Truck Driver role is permanent, full-time, to work with the Transport team based in Wagga Wagga. This role will involve travelling within the Riverina area on a regular basis. You will be collecting donations and delivering goods to people we assist. Driver Licence Class MR is desirable. 

As apart of the role you will be Accountable for security, safety, maintenance, cleanliness and operations of vehicles and warehouse equipment, and for the safety of volunteers using vehicles and equipment Wagga Wagga Warehouse Facility.

Your Responsibility

• Deliver stock to shops and goods to people we assist
• Conduct regular check of vehicle and warehouse equipment
• Ensure the security of donations, goods and stock during transport and storage
• Comply with all safety practices and procedures
• Maintain the warehouse in a safe, secure and clean condition
• Pick up goods and furniture donations
• Ensure all Society clothing bins are emptied on a regular basis

You Will Need

• Valid Licence - MR; Forklift licence is ideal but not essential
• Good geographical knowledge
• Good knowledge of Work, Health, and Safety procedures
• Safe driving skills
• Sensitivity and respect for people
