About the Role:

As a key member of the Property team, you’ll assist in managing a broad range of property management functions that help drive the NLC’s strategic goals and daily operations. Working closely with the Senior Property Officer, you'll help prepare leases, coordinate maintenance, liaise with contractors, support asset procurement, and contribute to efficient space planning.

You will have strong administrative skills, a good eye for detail, and a collaborative mindset. Your interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills will help you in engaging, liaising, and building strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and the wider community. Your customer service will be nothing short of exceptional, delivering tailored solutions to diverse stakeholders while balancing competing demands. Adaptable and solution-oriented, you will always find creative ways to overcome challenges and achieve optimal outcomes.

In addition to this, you will have:

  • Qualifications in property management within residential / commercial environments.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in residential or commercial properties.
  • Experience in Housing or Property Management with a strong understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act 1999, or the ability to rapidly acquire.
  • With guidance interpret and implement legislation, regulations, lease and contracts including negotiations and management.
  • A current drivers’ licence, with the ability and willingness to undertake remote travel in a manual 4wd vehicle or light aircraft.

We offer:

  • A base salary of $73,987 per annum plus 14.5% superannuation and salary sacrificing up to $15,900 + Meal Entertainment and Holiday Accommodation benefits up to $2,650 per year.
  • Other benefits under our Enterprise Agreement include:
    • District allowance of up to $4,797 per annum for individuals with dependents and $2,630 without dependents.
    • 5 weeks annual leave, leaving loading, 18 days personal leave;
    • Paid Christmas close down;
    • Upon completion of 12 months of service an Annual airfare with a net (in hand) value of $2,961
