Hawkesbury District Health Service is a teaching hospital in Windsor NSW, providing acute, community and allied health services for the local community and surrounding districts. The service provides 24-hour emergency, medical, surgical, diagnostic, maternity, neonatal, paediatric, palliative, intensive and coronary care services.
An exciting opportunity has opened up to join the Theatres team as an Operating Assistant here at Hawkesbury District Hospital. This position will work Monday - Friday mornings and afternoons.
The successful incumbent will support health professionals in the delivery of patient care. Under the direction of medical and nursing staff. The Operations Assistant maintains and provides equipment that assists in patient care delivery and is responsible for the transportation of perioperative surgical patients throughout the facility.
