About the Role

Join the Risk, Compliance and Quality team at Good Shepherd Australia New Zealand (GSANZ) and play a key role in supporting our quality assurance and continuous improvement systems. This position provides essential administrative support across accreditation, audits, document control, incident reporting, and compliance. You’ll help ensure our services consistently meet high industry standards and maintain critical accreditations such as ISO 9001:2015 and the Victorian Social Services Standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate key administrative tasks related to accreditation, audits, and compliance
  • Maintain document control systems and support training delivery
  • Assist with managing the incident register and associated reporting
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and reporting
  • Provide admin and reporting support for the Risk, Compliance and Quality Committee
  • Ensure client information materials are up-to-date and meet standards

Key Selection Criteria

  • Tertiary qualified in community services, business, health, education or related field.
  • Experience in community services would be viewed favourably. 
  • Proactive, positive approach to tackling problems, with persistence and patience in seeking workable systems solutions for end users.
  • Highly organised with a keen eye for detail.
  • A willingness and motivation to learn and develop skills within in the role to ensure you are able to support the team with a range of tasks, especially in peak periods.

About You

  • Hold qualifications in community services, business, health, education or related field
  • Experience with compliance, audits or quality improvement processes
  • Knowledge of DFFH funded programs and practice standards
  • Strong digital literacy and ability to use reporting and documentation tools
  • A positive, solutions-focused approach to systems and process challenges
  • Experience in the family services sector (highly desirable)
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent Time Management and Organisational Skills
