THE ROLE

They are seeking to appoint a Partnerships Manager to drive the identification, securing, and management of high-value partnerships with corporates, foundations, and trusts aligned with the company’s mission. The ideal candidate is commercially savvy, relationship-focused, and passionate about creating impactful partnerships that deliver both environmental and social value.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with the CCO to develop and execute sales plans to grow revenue from corporates, foundations, and trusts.
  • Identify and pursue new strategic partnership, sponsorship, and co-investment opportunities.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing agreements.
  • Create tailored value propositions aligned with partner goals and organisational objectives.
  • Manage and nurture long-term relationships with corporate and philanthropic partners.
  • Develop engagement plans including co-branded campaigns and impact reporting.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure partner integration and recognition in programs.
  • Serve as the main contact for partnership queries and communications.
  • Work with senior leadership to shape partnership offerings based on priorities.
  • Contribute to proposals and reports to meet partner expectations and compliance.
  • Represent the organisation at events to boost visibility and development.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records for leads, pipelines, and partnership activities.
  • Track and report on partnership performance, including revenue and engagement.
  • Provide insights into market trends to inform strategy.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • 5+ years in sales, corporate partnerships, philanthropy, or business development.
  • Proven success in securing and managing high-value corporate or foundation partnerships.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience in crafting win-win value propositions.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of the philanthropic and corporate social responsibility landscape.
  • Experience with mission-driven or environmental organisations is a plus.
  • Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and respond to business/reporting needs.
  • Adaptable, analytical, and problem-solving with the ability to handle shifting priorities.
  • Passionate about environmental sustainability and creating real-world impact.
  • High initiative and ability to manage multiple projects with conflicting priorities.
  • Strong integrity, professionalism, and resilience in dynamic environments.
