We are seeking a capable person to help prepare nutritious and delicious meals for our adult son, who has specific dietary needs.

This role will support his well-being by ensuring his preferences are met with care and accuracy. We are a vegan household, and our son mainly eats a vegan diet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of healthy and balanced vegan meals, which we have developed and which meet our son's eating preferences.
  • Dietary Adherence: Ensure all meals are prepared in accordance with specific dietary restrictions or requirements, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Shopping: Manage grocery shopping and maintain an organised pantry, ensuring all necessary ingredients are readily available.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Always adhere to strict food safety and hygiene standards to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with us (parents) to ensure consistent meal preparation and quality, communicating effectively regarding dietary needs and preferences.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of meal preparations, ingredients used and other relevant dietary information.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion and competence for cooking, including a strong understanding of nutritional principles. They will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills. A compassionate and patient nature is essential, as to is the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
