About the Role 

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Business Services you will be responsible for all operational activities associated with the Anglicare Victoria property portfolio, motor vehicle fleet and associated services.

You will lead a team of 5 in a highly collaborative and agile setting. You will lead and lift the team and provide guidance to continuously improve how we plan and strategically drive our property and fleet portfolio.

Anglicare Victoria has 97 workplaces including 30 Youth Residential Homes. The management and maintenance of those 30 homes is critical to the role. You will approach what you do in a child focused, community focused way to always maintain the safety of children and young people.

About our Ideal Candidate

Given the scope of the position and operational responsibility, you’ll bring demonstrated skills and experience in areas including:

  • Contract management inclusive of tendering, contract reviews and negotiation.
  • Property development, maintenance and fleet management.
  • To help drive our future growth and development, and to complement the existing leadership team you’ll bring:
  • An engaging and individualised approach to leadership, with the ability to develop, engage and lead an inclusive and diverse workforce.
  • A strategic approach to developing our property and fleet including legislative requirements and investment opportunities.
  • You’ll bring a mature and comprehensive understanding of project planning, complex property development, repairs and maintenance.
  • You’ll will naturally take accountability with an exceptional understanding of the importance of contractual obligations, compliance requirements and the ability to maintain the highest standards.  
  • You’ll bring an ability to both grow and maintain key stakeholder relationships, supporting the operational excellence internally at AV and building on our reputation externally.

  • A total salary package of $165,000 - $175,000 (this includes Superannuation)
